Boardwalk and Observation Deck Trail

The trail begins at the main entrance parking area and is approximately a one mile loop. It travels over a 750 foot long boardwalk with views of a pond and a beaver impoundment. At the farthest point is an observation deck that overlooks the marsh. The observation deck is currently closed for repairs. The Boardwalk is an accessible hiking trail providing access to a diversity of habitats.
This trail was developed as an accessible interpretative trail with descriptive signs to increase awareness of the environments along the trail. Signs and plaques are a result of the generous support of The Sweetgrass Foundation.
